Rules undergoing revision (latest change 11.11.10)

• Backyard Kustoms (BYK) and its Founders have the right to change the rules as they deem necessary. They also reserve the right to refuse or grant membership as they see fit.
• Joining requires at least three modifications and a vote of the members. Modifications will be counted as the Founders choose them. Changes to a vehicle such as tint, stick-ons of any sort, seat covers and other similar items are not counted as modifications.
• Modifications that are required include one major visual modification. This can include but is not limited to; paint, graphics, wheel/tire combo, shaving, ect.
• Prospect membership can be granted to a vehicle without the required modifications as long as work is intended to be done. Full membership, however, will not be granted until the requirements are met.
• Prospecting members will need to attend at least three meetings and one event and have at least three modifications to be considered for full membership. Full membership will be put to a vote of all members.
• Full members who change to an already modified vehicle will be allowed to keep their membership in most cases unless not approved by the founders. Long term members who switch to a stock vehicle with the intention of modding are also allowed to retain membership unless not approved by the founders. The cost of a new sticker will be paid by the member. Whether or not a new, stock, vehicle is allowed to sticker up will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
