The Important Stuff

We are not one of those car clubs full of million dollar machines. We are just a bunch of friends who would spend their last dollar at the car wash. We buy our own stuff for our vehicles and we put it in by ourselves in our own backyards. Or occasionally a side yard with a shop in it. Backyard Kustoms is for those that put $2000 worth of tires on a $200 dollar truck, those that love their rides more that their mates, and those that shop for gifts at an auto parts store. Whether you can park on top of a Volkswagen or if you have to plan your route around speed bumps, we are here and we always like to see new faces with the same passion for their ride as we show. We might not have the hottest or the fastest rides, but our blood and money went into them just the same.

6/13/2009 Bradley County Pink Tomato Antique/Rod/Custom Auto Show Location : [---] Additional Info : This is one show that has gotten a high rating from the entrants and show goers every year as it grows and grows! Sponsored by Reep's Rides, [---] , this show covers every make and model, from original, restored or modified from the 1920's-present. We have beautiful classics, muscle cars, street rods, sport trucks and many more. No late model imports or "Donks" (bling-bling caprices) are allowed. Specialty awards, best of show, door prizes, cash prizes and 1-3rd place trophies in every class.

Did not make that crap up.

September Slam
Sept. 12th will be our big show this year. We need to get everything planned and ready starting now. If you think there is anything you can help do, let Tanner or Nathan know.

x A PLACE to show on : Hyundai parking lot

   Lots more

"Showstopper"
We have a 89 Mazda lowrider in Tanner's shop that is for all of BYK to work on. Give Tanner or Nathan a call to get directions down there or see who's working on it that night. Somebody is usually down there.

1.19 We have Showstopper fired up where it will sit at an idle. Lots of work left.

Important Info

Dues: $35. This is a one-time fee that gets you in the club, a sticker of any size or color, and one shirt. No profit made. The money goes into a slush fund to cover all the expeses of getting the shirts and stickers made.

Shirts: Old-School - $10 each after the first one. Any color with white lettering.
Limited "BYK Racing" - Not available at this time.
Limited 09 "Kustom Plates" - $20 each. Grey with choice of red or blue stencils and your name.

Hoodies: $25 each with white lettering.

Stickers: Get a hold of Donna with sticker size & color. You can not get a sticker until after you pay your dues and your probation period is up. You can NOT get your sticker without Tanner, Nathan, or Donna present.

Meetings: Always at Mustang's Pizza at 8:00p; Second Friday of each month. Watch for Nathan's mass messages reqaurding meetings. Text him back!!
